As Requested, More Hailee

It's been a while since I posted anything up here. So here are some pictures of Hailee, which is the feature in highest demand here on the blog. So see below for your viewing pleasure.
Things have been going well for Brooke, Hailee and I. We are starting to get into a routine now that Brooke is back at work. Hailee is doing really good at her day care and adjusting to the new environment really well. She still sleeps all night long and even takes a long nap every afternoon, that is a bonus for Brooke.
Brooke and I have had some opportunities to do some fun things, thanks to the many babysitting volunteers that we have. We did get to have a nice Valentines Day dinner, go snowboarding and even went out to see a movie (Brooke is starting to become a Harry Potter geek, so we had to see Goblet of Fire before it was out of theaters).

We have seen some movies that I hope to post reviews of. So watch out for that.
Walk The Line (* * * *)(Conveniently out on DVD today)
Elizabethtown (* * *)
Flight Plan (* *)

Hailee loves her baths. She loves to get in the warm water, kick and splash. She especially loves to get her hair washed and doesn't even mind it when the shampoo is rinsed from her head.

One of the many outfits she wore on Valentines Day, because she had a few she needed to wear. I am not sure if Brooke (Or Grandma's) will ever realize that she is a real person and not a doll.

I am not sure that she entirely enjoys getting her hair done. Thanks Abby for the tattoo on Hailee's hand, she loved to try and suck it off. (Click the picture for a bigger version and you can see the tattoo)

Hailee is in the "Ladybug" room at her day care. So she needed a ladybug outfit to wear (at least that is what I was told)

Unfortunately for Hailee, this is what happens when Mom goes away and Dad is forced to do her hair and dress her.

Winter Camp

This weekend I went up to the mountains with the scouts and had a winter camp. We slept in snow caves, hiked with snowshoes, got cold, went sledding, rode snowmobiles and had a great time. It did get cold, -4 was the temperature overnight. In a way that's cool because each of the scouts are now able to get a special award for sleeping in sub zero temperatures. Nobody really slept well, but who does on a winter camp? The important thing is that everyone was safe and everyone had a great time.
Here are a couple of pictures I took while we were up there. Note the one of us standing around the snowmobile, we are on top of one of the snow caves that was big enough to house 5 people.

Lots of Pictures and News

A day in the life of Hailee, she loves to relax and lay in Mom and Dad's bed. I think she likes it better than her crib, but she has been sleeping in her crib very well. The transition from bassinet in our room to crib in hers has been easy.

Last week Bryce left to go on his mission to Brazil. He left straight to Brazil to spend a couple of months in the MTC in Sao Paulo before heading to his mission in Recife. Here are some pictures of Brooke and Hailee at the airport. This is the "before" picture of him and Hailee, I am sure she will be quite different in two years when he returns.

Getting all fancy for her day at church. Brooke has made sure that she hasn't worn the same outfit to church twice.

Hailee's first day at day care (or School as Brooke likes to call it). We made sure she was dressed really nice and as soon as she arrived she got to play. It was a difficult day, taking her to day care and Brooke's first day back at work. But she got to play a lot, did an art project and then slept all afternoon. So it must not have been too bad, then Dad got to pick her up and take her home.

Happy Birthday Josh!

Happy Birthday today to my good friend Josh.
