Lagoon!

Hailee took her first trip to Lagoon today. It was a very nice day and it went really well, Hailee had a blast. We all enjoyed ourselves quite a bit, and had a good afternoon. Brooke has been wanting to get Lagoon Season Passes for a while so we decided that we would do that today. Here are some photos from our day.

Her first ride and one of her favorites of the day, the boats. She had fun and even got a little wet.

She enjoyed the airplanes and thought they were fun, she didn't quite figure out how to go up and down, but that didn't matter and in fact probably would have just scared her too much.

She did not like Bulgy The Whale, she held on for dear life and was close to tears for pretty much the entire ride.

She did like the helicopter ride and even went up and down a few times by pulling the bar back and forth.

Proof that she did rise off the ground.

She loved the cars so much that she wanted to go more than once, so she took a few trips around the loop on the cars.

She enjoyed the train ride and really liked to see all the animals that Lagoon has.

She very much wanted to ride this ride because she saw the elephant and really wanted to ride on the elephant, but she didn't like the ride too much. It was past her nap time and she was tired, even though she never pulled the lever to make the ride go up and down, I think the speed freaked her out. It's good that we didn't have to stay all day because after this ride Hailee was pretty beat and so were the rest of us. I rode on Wicked and The Bat, two newer rides that Lagoon has and since I haven't been in several years hadn't been on. Wicked was really fun and I liked it a lot, probably one of the best rides that Lagoon has now, The Bat wasn't that great but it was fun to ride on a hanging ride. Brooke, unfortunately, didn't get to ride anything due to her "delicate" condition, but she got a churro and that made her happy.
