A Tribute to the Giraffe's

Hailee graduated from her Giraffe class at the end of August and is now a member of the Monkey class at school. I thought I'd share some pictures of her time with the Giraffe's...

My first day in the Giraffe room (September 5th, 2006). Look how much I've grown!

Having fun!

Look at all the silly things I like to do...

My first day of swimming lessons

They rented a bounce house for fun one day and my mom came over to jump with me. When she arrived it was the "babies" turn to jump and all of the babies were sitting outside the bounce house on the grass crying, including me. It was quite a sight! None of us wanted to go inside that big, scary house. I was a little less scared when my mom came and actually had some fun when she went in there with me. None of my friends dared to come in though. You may also notice the lady peeking into the bounce house. That's my Grandma Gibson. She works at the hospital too, so she got to come see me play.

I LOVE playing "Ring Around The Rosies"!

I will miss the Giraffe class and my teachers, but I'm excited to be a Monkey now. As a Monkey, I get to do lots of new things like more structured activities. Some of the things I get to do in this class are learning colors and numbers, learning about and playing musical instruments, learning how to go potty, and lots of fun things like that. My new teachers told my mom I have "good verbal skills", which means I never stop talking. I'm becoming a big girl now. I think that makes my parents kind of sad, but I'm loving every minute of learning new things and growing up.
