Last night Brooke and I went to a Jack's Mannequin concert. We had a really good time and it was fun to see such a great band. You may have heard of the band Something Corporate, well this is the side project of Something Corporate front man Andrew Mcmahon. Both bands are great and I would recommend any CD from either band. The music is unique with a blend of piano and guitar. Truly both are outstanding bands in a time when everyone tends to sound the same. Of course both bands center around Andrew, he seems to be the main talent and drive behind the music. There is also a great story of Andrew and his fight with cancer last year. I have to give credit to Josh for discovering Something Corporate and getting Brooke and I to listen to them.
So if you are into the whole punk/emo thing but want something a little more unique. Check out Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate.
